Why?

How to answer these two questions?

 

Few days back. "Umi… kenapa kakak tu hisap rokok?"

 

And yesterday. "Kenapa kakak yang pakai baju green tu tak pakai tudung?"

 

Nowadays, I have to find the way to answer intelligently (without confusing her which might kill her curiosity) to the questions.
